Platelet-rich fibrin or PRF

«Platelet-Rich Fibrin», a widely proven technique in aesthetic medicine, anti-aging and regeneration of living tissue, is a membrane rich in growth factors, a true platelet concentrate, which ensures optimal healing of the surgical site.

Today, after PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), the second generation of platelet concentrates, Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), offers the most effective clinical applications.

Indeed, PRF induces accelerated healing of bone and gingival tissues through the development of efficient neovascularisation (appearance of new blood vessels), accelerated wound closure with rapid remodelling of scar tissue, and an almost complete absence of infectious sequelae. Topical platelet concentrates, in particular PRF, thus represent new complementary therapeutic adjuvants, provided that we are able to evaluate their real effects in an impartial and rigorous manner.
